Dear PANalytical HighScore (Plus) User:


1. Purpose:
-----------
The two ZIP-compressed files you find here are meant to be used with version 3.0
or higher of the PANalytical HighScore or HighScore Plus software packages.
They can NOT be used with previous versions (1.0x, 2.0x, 2.1x, 2.2x) of the software.


2. Procedure:
-------------
* Download the ZIP-compressed files and unzip them to any folder on your PC.
  Each ZIP archive will uncompress into a single large file with the .HSRDB extension.
  These files are directly ready for use in HighScore (Plus)!
* Announce the new database for use in the software.
  Use the "Customize, Manage Databases, Add HighScore database... or 
  Search for databases" functions.
  

3. Details
----------
The archive COD_Jan2010_4HS.ZIP contains a total of 89715 calculated reference patterns. 
This file includes the minerals collection with 13462 calculated mineral patterns.

The archive AmMin_Jan2010_4HS.ZIP contains a total of 13462 calculated mineral reference patterns.
You can not use both files simultaneously in HighScore (Plus). 

These files can be used in combination with one or several user reference databases.

From this release onwards the numbering scheme in the PANalytical files (*.HSRDB) will stay constant
and will no longer change between different releases.
